Note on possible odor

Due to transport and packaging, the ABS material may have a faint odor upon unpackaging. This is completely normal and not a quality defect.

  • Remove the detector from the packaging and shake it lightly.
  • Let it sit or hang in a well-ventilated place for 1–2 days.
  • You may also wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth.
  • The smell usually disappears completely after a few days.
